SWIET MOFFO makes four types of sausages and two types of salt meat. SWIET MOFFO is the first in the world to produce and market chicken fashong. Many have tried to imitate this unique dish, but have been unable to come close to our flavour. We are proud to say that it is the best selling fashong in the Netherlands and far beyond its borders. Fashong was brought to Surinam by my Chinese grandfather. Wherever the Chinese immigrated, they introduced fashong, sometimes known as lap chong.
SWIET MOFFO brings variety to the food culture of the Netherlands. As SWIET MOFFO was already known for its various excellent quality marinades, the idea came to us to make dry herb mixes. We started with Surinamese herbed butter mix. This was such a success that many other mixes such as the shoarma mix, curry mix and vegetable mix, soon followed. Consumers were soon asking why we did not make more mixes as they tasted so good and were so easy to use. The dry herb range now consists of 18 different mixes. Choice enough to mix with both other mixes and the marinades. Many of our dry herb mixes are used in professional kitchens and catering companies. They are not only super delicious, but very economical in use. All dry herb mixes can be used by vegetarians as they contain no meat extracts or flavourings.
